Here we go again!
At almost the last minute
Michael said…
“This week end I want to go home
and see Daddy.”
So on Saturday morning we
got up and got ready…
Mike had to go by and check on the job…
Thibby had an appointment
for his yearly shots…
and then we were on our way…
back to Alabama
again.
Thibbs keeps an eye on his Dad
Here comes Benito…
Saturday night we were
in Homewood, Alabama
enjoying a show by
“Three on a String”
I have tried to put together a little slide/movie so I could add music…
let’s see if it will work…
They put on a wonderful show
as always…
and a short clip someone posted on youtube…
It is hard to believe that all these years have gone by in the mere wink of an eye…
Now, I am not real sure if
Felice ever shows Michael his Gamma’s blog…
but, Dee-Cee these next pictures are for him!
Coming back from Cullman,
these railroad track maintenance
cars where over past the
file plant…
Papa saw them and thought
we “needed” pictures for
Michael!
After a enjoyable visit at
the Mam-maw and
Pap-paw Ryan’s
with
Chris and Russ manning
the fires for a late lunch…
We went back to the house and
loaded up our duffle bags and our little puppies in order to head
back to SC for another
busy day on the job…
(For Michael, anyway..
as for me and the pups…
well, we took the day to get over the whirlwind trip..and to dote on Miss Bo-bo…
She thought it was called for…
she always thinks it’s called for.)
On the way back ,we decided to take the scenic route…
However, I think we will
leave that story for another time..
besides I do believe I hear Chloe and Thibby chewing over how they want to tell that story on their next blog posting…
All in all Father’s Day
weekend was a great one..
we got to run home,
see
Three on a String
and
enjoy the company of
Michael’s dad…
***
This picture was taken in May…
spent all my time visiting this past Sunday
and discussing plans for a drum majorettes outfit…
so, I fell down on my picture taking..
oops..
***
and last but not at all least…
Thank you , Michael,
for always being such a wonderful father to our children.
